Paul & Scott, founders of Firehouse Wines, are long-time friends having first met in Fallbrook, California. Scott was at that time a Firefighter for Fallbrook Fire Department and Paul was a student in High School. One day Paul was selected to participate in the "Firefighter for a day" program and had the opportunity to ride with the Fire Crew.
With Paul's resulting enthusiasm and Scott's knowledge, experience and position in the Fire Department, together they created the first Fallbrook Fire Explorer program, which still exists to this day. Scott recognized potential in Paul and guided him towards the appropriate fire fighter preparation classes. Scott later transfered to his hometown of Garden Grove, California, and moved back up to Orange County. Paul finished his classes and tested for a Firefighter position all over the state, but as luck would have it he was first hired in Buena Park, California, a neighboring city of Garden Grove.
Scott and Paul have participated in many ventures together including real estate projects and movie production, but it only seemed fitting to create a product that would give back to their fallen brothers' families. Paul had the vineyards and Scott had the management skills. Both had the energy and enthusiasm to produce not only great tasting wines but something that will always give back to the communities.
Scott and Paul remain as professional veteran Firefighters in Orange County and are currently active in other community affairs in addition to operating Firehouse Wines.
